PPP to hold rallies in divisional headquarters of Sindh on Oct 28

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh has announced to hold rallies in all the divisional headquarters of Sindh on October 28 on the passage of 26th Constitutional Amendment.

PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro said that the leaders and workers of the party will take out rallies in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur and Larkana on Monday on the approval of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.

The organizations of all districts will actively participate in the rallies to be held at their respective divisional headquarters. He said that the approval of the constitutional amendment is the victory of all the democratic forces and democracy and the defeat of the undemocratic elements.

Nisar Khuhro said that the time for Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to become the prime minister has come. He said parliament has become stronger with the approval of the 26th constitutional amendment. The pressure of cases on the Supreme Court will be reduced by the establishment of a constitutional bench.

The president of People’s Party Sindh said that the role of parliament in the appointment of judges will reduce judicial activism.

He said that we want the powers to be balanced and there should be no judicial activism. After the constitutional amendment, a constitutional bench will be established in the province with the resolution of the provincial assembly which will be able to hear the constitutional issues of the province.
