Zardari Enquires About Maulana Fazl’s Health During Telephone Call

Zardari Calls Maulana Fazlur Rehman

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari held a telephonic conversation here on Saturday.

According to sources, Asif Zardari enquired about Maulana Fazl’s health and extend sincere wishes for his speedy recovery.

“I pray for your swift recovery,” said Zardari.

The two leaders also discussed the political situation in the country and the future strategies of the PDM.

Earlier, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s health condition had deteriorated.

JUI-F sources had said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been suffering from fever for two days while he was at his residence in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to details, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s COVID-19 test report came negative and he had suspended his political activities due to ill health.

Doctors had advised the PDM chief to rest completely.

Earlier, Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq had said that there can never be a political alliance with PPP.

Speaking on BOL News’ program ‘National Debate’, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami said that underground activities and conspiracies would not be hatched to come to power adding that PPP and PML-N had contacted JI.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that there is a storm of inflation in the country, politicians and bureaucrats are not realizing it, Jamaat-e-Islami wants to end inflation and unemployment.

“We made Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a debt-free province in three years. The 2018 elections were not fair and transparent,” he said.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that we did not support anyone in the Senate election, we also have reservations about the electoral system but the government cannot be overthrown by this.

PDM chose to wash their dirty linen in public, he added.

‘PTI government is destructive for Pakistan’, says Zardari

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday has called the policies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government as destructive for Pakistan.

In a statement, the PPP leader said that the general masses are not getting relief in any field of life.

The government has failed to develop different sectors of the country including foreign affairs, political structure and economy, he added.

The former president has also forwarded guidelines to party leaders in Central Executive Committee (CEC) session of the PPP and directed to devise proper strategy.

We have to protect the country from difficult time, he asserted.

Asif Ali Zardari further said that PTI is pushing back Pakistan from the development.
