Ghulam Sarwar says, “Opposition working on agenda of enemies of Pakistan”

Skardu Airport Set To Welcome Int'l Flights To Boost Tourism: Aviation Minister

Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Minister for Aviation, has on Saturday said that the entire nation is standing with the institutions and salutes the security personnel for rendering lives for the protection of the homeland.

Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi, Ghulam Sarwar said opposition is trying to destabilize the country but it will fail soon.

He said the opposition is working on the agenda of enemies of Pakistan.

He said opposition leaders, addressing the gathering at Gujranwala last night, targeted state institutions leveling baseless allegations.

Conspiracies to destabilize the country will fail soon, Sarwar added.

Earlier in a day, Federal Mister on Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz remarked that the opposition had staged a “flop show with empty chairs”.

Shibli Faraz further added that the Opposition’s PDM Jalsa failed to display unity and solidarity.

Meanwhile, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had already predicted in November 2011, that all accountable parties for corruption in the country will united once an action is taken against them.

“It is quite sad that despite spending millions, the opposition was only able to gather a handful of people at the jalsa yesterday,” he said.

He also taunted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by saying “the PML-N supremo is acting like an ‘upset lover’”.

Shibli Faraz, Fawad Chaudhry remark PDM Jalsa as a “flop show with empty chairs”

Shibli Faraz Fawad PDM Jalsa

While reacting to the Opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Jalsa in Gujranwala, Federal Mister on Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz remarked that the opposition had staged a “flop show with empty chairs”.

Shibli Faraz further added that the Opposition’s PDM Jalsa failed to display unity and solidarity.

Speaking to media officials, he further added, “Opposition leaders have used such derogatory language, especially Bilawal Bhutto and Khawaja Asif. Bilawal Bhutto this wasn’t expected from you [especially when your] mother [Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto] was a respected female politician of the country. With your address [yesterday] you showed how much you respect women.”

The minister went on to add that the Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader was again “sidelined” and “deceived” when he was made to address empty chairs at 2:00 am.

On the other hand, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had already predicted in November 2011, that all parties being held accountable for corruption in the country will united once an action is taken against them.

“It is quite sad that despite spending millions, the opposition was only able to gather a handful of people at the jalsa yesterday,” he said.

He also taunted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by saying “the PML-N supremo is acting like an ‘upset lover'”.

“The way he [Nawaz Sharif] is complaining about the Pakistan Army, seems like he has forgotten the time when the army had pampered him during the 1980s”, Fawad said.

He suggested that opposition parties should cancel their next PDM demonstrations “given the poor participation from the public”.

PDM Jalsa: PTI govt. lambastes Opposition terming ‘new low and classlessness’

After the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) first political show in Gujranwala, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government hits back at the Opposition.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman were present at the PDM jalsa.

Reacting to the protest, Federal Minister on Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that the formation of the PDM is proof that only Prime Minister Imran Khan is standing tall against the status quo.

“Imran Khan and the people are on one side and the corrupt mafia is on the other side,” the minister wrote on Twitter.

Moreover, Federal Minister on Science and technology Fawad Chaudhry took a jibe at the new alliance of opposition political parties sharing a picture of him along with other PTI ministers.

“Watching Cricket Highlights #Relaxing #BechariOpposition,” the minister said in a tweet.

On the other hand, SAPM on Human Resource Development Zulfi Bukhari severely rebuked PPP Chairman Bilawal for what he referred to as the Bhutto scion’s “filthy attacks” during the PDM jalsa.

He also termed Bilawal’s speeches and accusations as “new low and classlessness”.

“Don’t blame Bilawal… if his parents didn’t make money off massive corruption he’d still be selling tickets like daddy at a cinema today. That’s the lineage he’s shown today with all his lies & filthy attacks,” the minister lambasted in a tweet.
