93rd Oscars shortlists in nine categories has been announced here on Wednesday (today).
The 93rd Oscars will take place on Sunday, April 25, 2021, and will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories globally.
Nominations voting to begin on Friday, March 5, 2021, and concludes on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Whereas, nominations for the 93rd Academy Awards will be announced on Monday, March 15, 2021. However, the shortlists by categories are mentioned below:
DOCUMENTARY FEATURE
Fifteen films will advance in the Documentary Feature category for the 93rd Academy Awards. Members of the Documentary Branch vote to determine the shortlist and the nominees.

DOCUMENTARY SHORT SUBJECT
Ten films will advance in the Documentary Short Subject category for the 93rd Academy Awards. One hundred fourteen films qualified in the category.
These are:

- “A Concerto Is a Conversation”
- “Do Not Split”

INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILM
Fifteen films will advance to the next round of voting in the International Feature Film category for the 93rd Academy Awards.
Academy members from all branches were invited to participate in the preliminary round of voting and must have met a minimum viewing requirement to be eligible to vote in the category.
