Bollywood’s socialite and popular figure, Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry has drawn attention for his outspoken support of Donald Trump amid the U.S. presidential election race.

The drama unfolded when Orry commented on a post shared by Kamala Harris’ official campaign page on Instagram. The post featured Harris wearing a sparkling rainbow flag jacket, which led Orry to leave a vomit emoji in the comments—an expression of his disdain.

Orry’s remark shocked many of his Indian followers, prompting one to ask, “Orry, are you a Trump supporter???” to which he quickly replied, “You’re either a Trump supporter or you hate America.” His response generated backlash, with some fans expressing disappointment. One follower wrote, “Nahh, what a disappointment,” while another added, “Sorry, Orry, but I can’t be following you anymore.”

The incident quickly gained traction on Reddit, where users accused him of seeking attention by making controversial statements. One commenter wrote, “He is just trying to stay relevant by making these controversial takes,” while another added, “He probably doesn’t even know what is happening in India.” Many users highlighted the irony of a Mumbai-based figure commenting on U.S. elections without ever showing interest in Indian politics.
