Gino Wolf, is the oldest living dog. What is his long life sercet?

Gino Wolf

According to Guinness World Records, the world’s oldest dog is a 22-year-old dog named Gino Wolf.

The doggo was born on September 24, 2000, and Alex Wolf, 40, adopted him from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley in 2002.

“I’ve taken great care of him over the years and he is still in relatively very good shape…and really cute still which is surprising considering his age!” Guinness World Records was informed by Alex.

“He’s been there every step of the way. I’m so glad we got him. He’s the best,” Today spoke with the dog parent.

“When he was younger, he used to love exploring my parents’ huge backyard with our other dogs in Manhattan Beach, going on walks off the leash in Venice, going on drives along the coast blasting music with his head out the window, or running around on the golf course in La Quinta,” Alex continued.

Alex went on, “He always loved being in the big dog park instead of the small dog park. Big dogs would follow him around like he was their fearless leader, and that made Gino proud. He always had ‘BDE’ — big dog energy .”

Gino enjoys taking naps by the fire, eating salmon treats, and going around the neighbourhood in a waggon.

The dog’s vision is deteriorating.

Gino’s longevity, according to Alex, was due to a nutritious diet of human-grade food, veterinary treatment, and continuing support from family and friends — but most importantly, Gino himself.

“I give him all the credit,” Gino’s hooman stated. “He’s gotten a lot of love, and I think he’s just a strong dog,” says the owner.
