Pakistani cricketer Shan Masood will soon tie the knot after a handful of the country’s cricket players this year.

The 33-year-digital old’s invitation card has also been discovered online. According to the wedding card, Shan marries Nische, reaffirming the date of the January 27 Walima.

He has picked a date for his wedding, which will take place in Peshawar, in northern Pakistan, on January 21, as the Walima, the second of the two traditional components of an Islamic wedding, will take place on January 27.

After the New Zealand series, the top-order player will get married.

Along with the wedding, Masood’s dismal performance in the current Test series against New Zealand kept him in the news.

The prominent financier Mansoor Khan is the father of Shan, while Waqar Masood Khan, his paternal uncle, was the federal finance secretary. Among his three siblings, he is the second youngest. Ali, Shan’s younger brother, is a lawyer, and Shan’s older sister passed away last year.

He was born in Kuwait on October 14, 1989, and has participated in 25 tests, five One Day Internationals, and 19 T20 Internationals. He was also a member of the Pakistani T20 World Cup team in 2022.
