LEBANON: The Lebanon’s Hezbollah has appointed senior leader Naim Qassem as its interim leader.
According to Arab media reports, Naeem Qasim will take over the affairs of Hezbollah until the election of a new leader.
Reports say that there is a strong possibility of Hashim Safieddine being elected as the head of Hezbollah, Hashim Safieddine is the cousin and son-in-law of Hassan Nasrallah Shaheed.
According to media reports, Naeem Qasim has been a member of Hezbollah Shura Committee 3 times consecutively.
It should be noted that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in the Israeli attack and Hezbollah confirmed his martyrdom.
Hezbollah said that the war against Israel will continue, it will continue its jihad to support Gaza and Palestine, and to defend Lebanon.
In addition, the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah was announced on Hezbollah’s Lebanese channel al-Manar.
