Actress and model Nadia Hussain stands by her stance on motherhood after the viral statement by renowned singer Abrar ul Haq in which he shamed current mothers for not raising their children properly.

Nadia Hussain, in a viral video shared by actor Ahsan Khan, said that the mothers of today cannot be insulted so openly.

Both the actors were having a little time out at the airport where Khan asked the Jalan actress to comment over the recent online feud.

A few days back, Abrar ul Haq, the singer turned politician, pointed out young mothers of the modern era for handing over gadgets to their kids from a very early age rather than focusing on their nourishing and Islamic teachings. He, crooning the ‘Baby Shark’ poem, went viral all over social as he made fun of the way mothers choose to raise their children today.

Hussain, however, questioned how Abrar ul Haq went from listening to his mother recite the kalima to his famous songs Nach Punjaban and Billo de Ghar after he shamed current mothers.

During the online debate over the matter, when a PTI fan account pointed out, “He [Abrarul Haq] has also recited Naats, do you only remember these [his controversial tracks]?” Nadia responded saying: “I remember everything! But he [Abrarul Haq] has no right to talk down the mothers of today when he has grown up the way everyone else did! Aside from his naats, what does he think the youngsters of today learnt from his songs?”

However, the celebrities had expressed mixed reviews regarding the singer’s statement. Some found him right while others began to call him out.

Nadia Hussain, however, questioned how Abrar ul Haq went from listening to his mother recite the kalima to his famous songs Nach Punjaban and Billo de Ghar after he shamed current mothers.

Other than the model, several celebrities have mixed reactions to his [Abrar ul Haq] statement. Some found him right while others began to call him out.

Moreover, after Hussain garnered intense backlash for pointing the singer out of context, she appeared with another teasing note questioning why he didn’t attend a panel discussion for Voice of America and that she missed him.

She tried to poke fun at the singer in a cryptic way, saying: “Aap se ek aur shikayat!! (Another complaint from you)”

Moreover, actress Zarnish Khan came out in support to defend Haq’s opinion. She suggested to take a point holistically before passing any judgement.

“If someone says something good, then give the devil his due. Let’s not dismiss what he said by dragging his entire life into the picture. If this continues, we’ll have to practice becoming deaf [to good advice],” she wrote on her Instagram story.

Pakistani showbiz’s star Yasir Hussain recently slammed the renowned singer Abrar ul Haq through his Instagram post after Abrar’s statement criticizing young mothers went viral.

Took to Instagram, Yasir Hussian posted a video of his wife Iqra Aziz in which she is singing Baby Shark to their son Kabir Hussain.

Sharing the video Yasir wrote, “never judge a mother . woh bachy ko kesy palti hai kya sikhati hai kya sunati hai. agar mai ne yeh sab pehly dekh lia hota k maa ka bachy ko palna kitna mishkil hai toh mai apni amma se kabhi aankh mila k baat bhi na kar pata. maa ka rutba bohot bara hai. aaj ya kal . hamesha maa maa hai.”

Pakistani popular singer Abrar-ul-Haq has criticized young and modern mothers for giving gadgets in children’s hands and ignoring their nurturing while singing Baby Shark at a convention to mark Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) three years performance.

He further said that “when we were kids, our mothers used to recite Kalima to us, and nowadays, young mothers give mobile phones to their children, which play Baby Shark.”

After his statement, this matter has gotten intense and the famed actress and mother of four has reacted to Abrar-ul-Haq for criticizing modern-day mothers, says “he has no right to talk down mothers when he himself has grown up the way everyone else did.”

“Naaton ke ilawa gaanay jo gaye, does he think k uss se naujawaan nasl ne bauhat kuch seekha?, Maa ki godh se kalma sunte sunte Nach Punjaban ya Billo ke ghar tak ka safar pata nahi kese tey kiya.” she added
