Tributes have been poured in by the entire cricket fraternity after Former Indian captain MS Dhoni had announced his retirement from international cricket.

The Pakistan cricket community hailed MS Dhoni in one voice, calling him one of the greatest captains that India produced.

MS Dhoni made the announcement of his retirement by uploading a video on his Instagram account and wrote, “Thanks. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”

Pakistani stalwarts such as Inzamam-ul-Haq, Basit Ali, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis Mudassar Nazar, Shahid Afridi and many others showed immense respect for Dhoni.

MS Dhoni announces retirement from International Cricket

Pakistan’s head coach Misbah-ul-Haq has said MS Dhoni ‘changed the whole culture and face of Indian cricket’ after the former captain announced his international retirement.

MS Dhoni is India’s most successful skipper, having played a starring role in their 2011 World Cup final win on home and also guided them to victory in the inaugural T20 World Cup final and the Champions Trophy.

“He’s a big name in Indian cricket, he’s served Indian cricket very well,” Misbah told media officials after the third day’s play in the second Test between England and Pakistan was delayed due to rain.
