Who is Judy Spera? Get to Know Ed and Lorraine Warren’s Daughter

Judy Spera

Judy Warren, also known as Judy Spera, is the daughter of the renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose work gained international recognition through The Conjuring movie series. Judy has always avoided the spotlight surrounding the supernatural. Still, she has come to terms with her family’s legacy in recent years and is contributing to the Warrens’ ongoing work and reputation maintenance.

Early Life of Judy Spera

Due to her parents’ frequent travels for work, Judy spent most of her childhood living with her grandparents. She acknowledged having anxiety at her parents’ home in a 2020 interview, stating, “I was terrified there, so I just did not sleep there.” She spent the most of her life being afraid of the paranormal, but she eventually learned to live with it.

Personal Life of Judy Spera

Judy and Tony Spera, a police officer, have been together for more than 40 years. They first met in the late 1970s. Now, they co-manage the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), carrying on the Warrens’ paranormal research and holding conferences to disseminate their findings worldwide.

Paranormal Documentaries

Devil’s Road: The True Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a documentary released in 2020, featured Judy in a major role. “Who knew her better than I did?” she asked, emphasizing how important it was for her to share her viewpoint, especially on her mother’s legacy.

Keeping Warren Legacy Alive

Even after the Warren Occult Museum closed, Ed and Lorraine Warren’s work is still fascinating and motivating because Judy and Tony continue to preserve many of the haunted artifacts, including the notorious Annabelle doll, and frequently bring them to paranormal conventions.
