Speculation is rife about BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) potentially joining the cast of the next season of Squid Game. The buzz was sparked by a cryptic response from the show’s stars, Lee Jung Jae and Wi Ha Joon, during a recent interview with BuzzFeed UK.

In a YouTube Shorts video, the actors were asked if the global K-pop icon might make an appearance in the hit Netflix series. Their wide-eyed smirks and Lee Jung Jae’s coy reply, “I can’t say anything about that,” immediately set social media abuzz. Fans of both Squid Game and BTS are now speculating about a potential collaboration.

V’s possible involvement would be a significant crossover between K-pop and K-drama, heightening excitement for the already highly anticipated season. Known for his captivating stage presence, V is also an accomplished actor, having earned praise for his role as Han Sung in the 2016 K-drama Hwarang.

Netflix has finally gone public with their promo for the upcoming reality show named Squid Game: The Challenge.

For those who are unfamiliar, the series Squid Game debuted in 2021 and went on to achieve unprecedented success.

While no information about season 2 is available, the sitcom is planned to have a real-life spin-off before the end of the year.

The first trailer for this series has already been released, and the second is now in the works.

The first clip features a demonic doll and an introduction by the rest of the organizers, who are clothed in pink.

Previously, actor Lee Jung Jae, who plays protagonist Seong Gi-Hun, has provided an update on filming as well as plot elements of the second season of the series. Talking about the plot, he said, “As we all saw at the end of season 1, the main plot of season 2 will be revenge, and the key figure who controlled the workings of the games in season 1 was Lee Byung Hun sunbae, so it seems that the two of us will be the central figures of this next story.”

His agency issued a statement about a situation.
They revealed that “Actor took a PCR test, and the results were positive”.

Lee Jung-jae, the Emmy Award-winning actor for Netflix’s Squid Game, cancelled all of his scheduled activities after testing positive for COVID-19.

On September 21, Allkpop stated that Lee agency confirmed the actor’s positive COVID-19 test.

The actor’s agency issued a statement about a situation and said that “Actor took a PCR test, and the results were positive. As per quarantine authorities’ instructions, he has currently halted all his schedule and self-isolating at home.”

Recently, Lee attended the “74th Primetime Emmy Awards” in Los Angeles and took home the “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” award for his performance in Netflix’s Squid Game.

On September 18, he went to the “Toronto International Film Festival” for his first film as a filmmaker Hunt which had its North American premiere there.
