Marcus Jordan To Marry Larsa Pippen Despite Father’s Public Disapproval

Marcus Jordan is disregarding his father Michael Jordan’s viewpoints regarding his fast-paced relationship with Larsa Pippen.

In a conversation with TMZ, the former NBA player’s son provided an update on his wedding preparations with the Real Housewives of Miami star. He mentioned, “It’s in the works,” and mentioned that they are actively searching for a suitable location for their wedding ceremony.

Although Marcus Jordan and Larsa haven’t officially announced their rumored engagement, speculation was fueled when Larsa was seen wearing a diamond-cut ring on her wedding finger during a recent outing in West Hollywood.

While this will be Marcus’s first experience with marriage, Larsa has encountered it before. She was previously married to Scottie Pippen, with their marriage ending in 2018. The couple has four children together: Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, Justin, 18, and Sophia, 14. Back in July, Michael Jordan openly expressed his disapproval of his son’s new relationship, responding with a firm “No!” when asked if he endorsed it.

During an episode of her podcast alongside Marcus Jordan, Larsa addressed Michael’s remarks, revealing that his opinion left her feeling “traumatized.” She also acknowledged that Michael’s reservations were rooted in a logical explanation, pointing to the history of conflicts between the athlete and her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen.

Larsa Pippen has expressed her feelings of embarrassment following basketball legend Michael Jordan’s public disapproval of her relationship with his son, Marcus Jordan.

During the latest episode of their podcast Separation Anxiety, Larsa and Marcus openly discussed the incident where Michael Jordan sternly rejected Larsa in front of the paparazzi. Larsa angrily expressed her feelings to Marcus, stating, “You thought it was funny. I didn’t think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it. I kinda felt like it went everywhere and I was kind of embarrassed.”

She further explained, “It literally went everywhere. I think people started to think that online they were saying that I was lying… that I lied and said that our parents are fine because I was doing interviews and saying both of our families are fine.”

Larsa, who was previously married to Michael’s teammate Scottie Pippen before their split in 2021, acknowledged that some people, including Scottie, might find their relationship awkward. She said, “But it probably is awkward for my ex and your dad because they have their own relationship or whatever it was.”

She concluded by sharing her understanding of the situation, saying, “So I feel like for them, it probably is weird, it probably is weird for your dad. I can’t be mad. I understand… Oh my god, I was traumatized. I was like, what are we going to do, people think I lied.”

Larsa Pippen describes the moment she understood she was more than just Marcus Jordan’s friend.

The 48-year-old Real Housewives of Miami actress exclusively reveals that their relationship became amorous when she became envious of him during a night out with Michael Jordan’s son, an NBA icon.

“I believe there was a girl present when we went out one night. I was growing envious of her attempts to speak with him, “She remembers. And that was strange because I don’t usually get envious, but I did because of the circumstance.

She continues: “I then began to consider the possibility that I actually do like him. That all but closed the deal.”

The couple met at a party in Los Angeles four years ago through common connections, according to the media personality, and “had a fantastic foundation as friends.” Since September, the two have been linked; on Valentine’s Day, they made their Instagram relationship official.

I do believe that time is crucial, and we only recently began getting to know one another, she says.

Pippen, who officially divorced her ex-husband Scottie Pippen in January 2022, also talked openly about the difficulties of dating before meeting Jordan, her “best buddy.”

She says, “For me, I just couldn’t be open and open to different guys.” “I’d be able to criticise any guy… Marcus suddenly descends from heaven after I had all these peculiar occurrences. And I think I like him in every way.”

Although acknowledging that partnerships are “very hard,” the reality star says she hopes to win Jordan over.

“Oh my God, if Marcus ordered me to colour my hair green, I’m going to do it,” she quips, “I feel like I say it a lot.” “Just because I feel compelled to do so because he makes me so happy,” she said.

She continues by saying that she now has a newfound level of faith in Jordan. I like to be led in relationships, but up until now, I haven’t trusted anyone to lead me. That’s the problem about me.
