BTS’ ‘DNA’ Smashes K-Pop Records With 1 Billion Views On YouTube

The popular K-pop band BTS has achieved another milestone as their music album – DNA has achieved 1.2 billion views on YouTube.

According to the details, DNA, the title track from their mini-album Love Yourself: Her achieved 1.2 billion views on YouTube. This also makes them the first K-Pop boy group to achieve this incredible feat.

DNA is an EDM and pop song, the lyrics of which talk about fate and love at first sight. The music video for the song came out on September 18, 2017.

The MV hit 1.2 billion views on February 11, 2021, which means it took about three years, four months, and 23 days for it to achieve the feat.

DNA recorded 1 billion views in June 2020, adding glory to BTS’ Festa celebrations. DNA had previously ranked on Billboard’s Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks.

Moreover, the lovely bop also received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) back in February 2018.

Meanwhile, BTS is all set to release BE: Essential Edition on February 19, 2021.

#8YearsWithJungkook is trending all over Twitter as fans are appreciating their favourite BTS star Jungkook for his acclaimed performances.

Jungkook, whose real name is Jeon Jeong-guk, is the lead vocalist, dancer, and rapper of the South Korean musical band. He is the youngest member of this hip-hop group which also has Kim Taehyung, Rap Monster, Jimin, Jin, Suga and J-Hope. A part of BTS since 2013, the young man is popular amongst the youth and is known to uplift the audience during concerts with his raps and dance moves.

Jungkook is extremely talented and this is the reason that despite being so young he has received a huge fan following as well as popularity not just in South Korea but other Asian countries as well. And we have to mention, most of his songs and videos have become huge hits. Besides being a talented singer, rapper, and dancer, Jungkook has a charismatic personality. His attractive looks have also contributed to his success.

Jungkook has appeared in many TV shows as well. He appeared in three episodes of ‘BTS China Job’ in 2014.

Two years later, he did a few TV projects including, ‘Flower Boy Bromance’, ‘Special MC in Music Core’, and ‘National Idol Singing Contest’.

Also in 2016, the singer cum dancer became a part of the ‘Flower Crew’ reality program along with the likes of Jo Se-ho, Yoo Byung-jae, and Ki Min-seok.

Asim Azhar soon to collab with popular K-Pop band ‘BTS’

Pakistan’s singing sensation, Asim Azhar is very happy to announce his upcoming collaboration with famed K-Pop group ‘BTS’.

The Ghalat Fehmi singer shared a video of one of the viral BTS edits with a desi twist as the Asim shook a leg on his recently-released track, Soneya.

Posting the video on his Twitter account, Azhar said he wishes to be the first Pakistani to team up with the Korean music sensations.

“I’d love to become the first Pakistani artist to collaborate with BTS. Crossing cultures is always beautiful. K-pop is an example of that, also amazing edit!” he wrote.

Pakistani singer Hadiqa Kiani also gave a nod of approval to Azhar’s idea and commented: “Yes! Fully support this.”
