V, better known as Kim Tae-hyung, is facing criticism for his support of Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, during her conflict with HYBE.
Reports on October 31 revealed that a formal complaint has been filed against the BTS member, alleging he violated military training rules.
The controversy arose after Min claimed that BTS’ V, 28, had reached out to her during his military enlistment to check on her well-being amid her issues with HYBE, the company that manages BTS. This raised questions about the use of mobile phones while in the military.
Following her comments, someone filed a complaint with the Ministry of National Defense, stating, “Soldier V sent a text message in the early hours.” The message was reportedly sent on December 16, 2022, just five days after V’s enlistment on December 11, suggesting it occurred while he was still in training.
The complainant argued that this act is a “serious violation of military law” and expressed concerns that officials might overlook his phone use due to his fame as a K-pop star. The complainant, known as N, is active in online communities, often criticizing Min and supporting HYBE.
