'I have a private cancer foundation,' Keanu Reeves admits

Canadian actor Keanu Reeves has a private cancer foundation to help children’s hospitals and cancer research, but he does not attach his name to it. He has also spent millions to help his sister in her fight against leukaemia.

In his recent interview, Keanu admits: “I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research.⁠ I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.”⁠

Keanu also claims he doesn’t need material things to be happy. He says: “It’s always nice to open your eyes every morning and see the world – it all seems so simple!⁠ That’s why I frequently use an expression that I like very much, and which gives me peace of mind, I’m happy to be here.”

“That enormous sense of gratitude is enough for meI don’t need to surround myself with a lot of objects and possessions to feel that way,” the ⁠Matrix actor said.

The first trailer of the most awaited film ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is out. It is the fourth film in the Matrix franchise that features the return of Keanu Reeves as Neo. The film also stars Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Priyanka Chopra, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Jada Pinkett Smith, among others.

The action-packed trailer of ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ has showcased the first look of Keanu Reeves as Neo.

‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is directed by Lana and Lilly Wachowsky and the film is set to release on December 22.

It should be noted that the first Matrix film was released in 1999. It was followed by The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions in 2003.

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra dropped the first trailer of ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ on her Instagram, as she made her debut in the Matrix universe.

The fourth film in the Matrix franchise marks the return of Keanu Reeves as Neo. The film also stars Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Priyanka Chopra, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Jada Pinkett Smith, among others.

Sharing the 1st trailer of ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ Priyanka wrote, “They had me at ‘Neo and Trinity are back’! The Matrix trilogy defined my generation of cinema. It was the gold standard… something we all role played and referenced all our lives!”

So, here I am… a small, excited little fish in the huge cinematic pond that is THE Matrix!
Needless to say, I am honoured and thrilled to be a part of this legacy and to have had the experience of working under the tutelage of Lana Wachowski and alongside this incredible, iconic cast. If you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll know that “Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is”… so just give in.
