Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor announced her next project, Brown, with a photo of herself holding a clapper board and a poster on Monday.
Her younger sister Kareena Kapoor also shared the news on her Instagram stories to show her support for sister. Karisma’s most recent appearance was in the web series Mentalhood in 2020, which marked her first time on Netflix.

Brown was written on a clapper board, which Karisma shared. Only Karisma’s eyes were visible in the photograph.
“To new beginnings,” Lolo captioned her post.
In the second photo, Karisma posted a poster for Brown, a film directed by Abhinay Deo, who also directed Delhi Belly.
Karisma’s close friend Amrita Arora commented, “Woohoo.” Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Ali Khan wrote, “Good luck,” and Sanjay Kapoor said, “All the best.” One fan commented, “Can’t wait to see the magic.” Another one wrote, “OMG Lolo! Finally finally.” While one wrote, “I am super excited. Eagerly waiting for your comeback. Aag laga dena Lolo,” another one joked, “Thinking if Govinda is gonna be the second lead in this film.”
The Jab We Met actress shared her sister’s post on her story and wrote, “Karisma Kapoor You are the best.”
