In the television series Sar e Rah, Muneeb takes a step by playing Sarang Shabbir, an intersex boy who faces difficulties before becoming a Pakistani assistant commissioner.
Muneeb discussed the matter while he was a guest on Obaid Attique’s podcast. He mentioned the part his father plays in the journey of his intersex character, “Khawaja Sira.” He clarified that while the term “trans” refers to those who alter their gender on purpose, the intersex person he is portraying is someone who is naturally born that way.
