The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has shared a throwback picture from the times when he was writing his travel book “Indus Journey”.

Indus Journey is a travel book penned by Prime Minister Khan himself. He traveled through Pakistan, revisiting the locations that most of all meant to him along the great Indus River, from its delta on the Arabian Sea to its headwaters in the Himalayas, through the enigmatic ruins of Mohenjodaro, the Sind and Punjab plains, the Khyber Pass, and his hometown of Lahore.

Imran’s witty anecdotes and acute insights offer a rare glimpse into the richly diverse life of Pakistan’s history and present; a life beautifully depicted by Mike Goldwater’s excellent color photographs. The outcome is a sumptuous intimate view of Pakistan, seen from the lens of one of its most illustrious countrymen.

Taking to Instagram, Imran Khan shared a photo and captioned it as,

“In 1989 when I was writing the travel book “Indus Journey”

In the photo, Imran Khan can be seen sitting like a boss on a jeep’s bonnet.
