Mumbai Police have imposed restrictions on Salman Khan‘s fans in response to a threatening email. Following the threat, the police have already increased Salman’s security. Additionally, they have filed an FIR against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, his assistant.
Salman’s security detail will consist of eight to ten constables and two officers with the rank of assistant police inspector (API). According to the news agency PTI, Salman’s fans won’t be able to gather outside his office and home in the Galaxy Apartments in suburban Bandra.
Prior, Salman was furnished with Y+ classification security by the police and he moved around in an impenetrable vehicle alongside his own safety officers. According to the report, the police have now implemented additional security measures to ensure the actor’s safety.
The Bandra police filed an FIR on three individuals on Saturday for allegedly sending a threat email to Salman’s office: Lawrence, Goldy, and Rohit. Prashant Gunjalkar, who runs an artist management company and frequently visits Salman’s Bandra residence, filed the police complaint that led to the filing of the FIR.
According to the official, citing the FIR, Prashant noticed an email from ID Rohit Garg while he was in Salman’s office on Saturday afternoon. According to the email, Salman should have seen Lawrence’s recent interview with a news channel if he hadn’t already. Tending to Prashant, it said if Salman needs to close the matter, he ought to talk eye to eye with Goldy, adding “there is still time yet agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (in the future he will get shock)”.
The FIR was enrolled under segments 120-B (discipline for criminal trick), 506-II (discipline for criminal terrorizing) and 34 (normal goal) under the Indian Corrective Code. A news channel recently aired an interview with Lawrence. Goldy and He, who is currently being held in a jail in Punjab, are accused of killing singer Sidhu Moosewala. In a handwritten note dated June of last year, an unidentified individual had threatened Salman.
