Go first goes viral as they took off without 50 passenger

Go First flight took off from Bengaluru this morning with a busload of passengers waiting on the tarmac, accusing the airline of gross irresponsibility. Some customers claimed on Twitter.

According to complaints on Twitter tagging the airline, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s office, flight G8 116 from Bengaluru to Delhi took off about 6.30 a.m., leaving more than 50 people behind.

Responding to at least three such tweets, Go First Airways invited customers to give their information and stated, “We apologise the difficulty caused.”

Shreya Sinha described it as the “most horrifying experience” in a blog post. She stated that the passengers boarded the bus for the flight at 5.35 a.m. but remained on board for an hour.

“Most horrifying experience with @GoFirstairways, 5:35 am Boarded the bus for aircraft 6:30 am Still in bus stuffed with over 50 passengers, driver stopped the bus after being forced. Flight G8 116 takes off, leaving 50+ passengers. Heights of negligence!” Shreya Sinha tweeted.

Satish Kumar, whose Twitter bio says “youth BJP”, shared a screenshot of the ticket.
