George Michael ‘s final work, a documentary film in which he was extensively involved before his death, will be released in theatres this summer. In what promises to be a very autobiographical movie, George Michael Freedom Uncut will include never-before-seen footage and contributions from stars such as Stevie Wonder and Sir Elton John.
George Michael died suddenly on Christmas Day 2016 at the age of 53. The singer-songwriter great was working on a documentary film about his public and private lives. This summer, George Michael Freedom Uncut will be released posthumous.

At this pivotal period of his life, Michael is able to fight for his artistic freedom and lead the way for others. He meets his first real love, Anselmo Feleppa and navigates both the heartbreak of Anselmo’s early tragic passing from an AIDS-related illness and the devastating loss of his mother. GEORGE MICHAEL FREEDOM UNCUT is also a brilliant reminder of Michael’s outstanding musical genius during the Wham! years and throughout his solo career.”
