Real Madrid forward Rodyrgo sidelined as he sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s 2-0 win against Granada.
According to reports, the severe injury for Rodyrgo might keep him out of action at least for three months.
The player has been diagnosed with a muscular injury affecting the tendon in his right biceps femoris hamstring muscle, reports said.
Rodrygo’s rehab process could take even a bit longer as it’s a tricky injury. He could be back in April, which means that he will miss many important games.
“Following tests carried out on Rodrygo … he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury affecting the tendon in his right biceps femoris hamstring muscle,” Real said in a statement.
Real are level on points with Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga but have played two games more.
Rodyrgo is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Brazil national team. He began his career with Santos, where he played 80 games and scored 17 goals before a €45 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2019.
