Nick Jonas recently remarked on how his outlook on life has shifted since becoming a parent to a newborn girl.

“The weight of everything is considerably more severe,” the singer-songwriter told Variety. I think it’s now about trying to be as present and considerate as possible for your family, as well as for other people’s experiences.”

Maltie Marie Jonas, whom he shares with Priyanka Chopra, is a blessing in his life, according to the Jealous hitmaker.

“I am extremely thankful for Malti Marie and the amazing perspective that comes with becoming a parent,” he said.

Meanwhile, the singer-actor wrote a tweet a day after the horrific Texas shooting in which he expressed his sympathies to the bereaved families, according to the magazine.

“As a parent, as an uncle, I can’t help but think about the kids and all the lives lost,” he concluded.

In addition, the Levels singer stated, “I am hopeful for change and we will see the end of this.”

Meanwhile, Jonas received the Golden Glove award for his “diabetes activism” during the occasion.

“I think about the individuals who assisted me along the way, including my family and friends, and I want tonight to be about them.” But the foundation chose to grant me this honour, and it seems strange in some respects, but I’m glad,” he remarked.

To be clear, the singer has had Type 1 diabetes for the past 16 years.
