The latest 30-second trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teases an “infinite number” of realities colliding and intertwining.
Olsen is seen as Wanda Maximoff, who was last seen sad and lonely at the end of Disney+’s WandaVision, after seeing glimpses of many Doctor Strange versions, each performed by Benedict Cumberbatch. In one scenario, Olsen is barefoot and drenched in blood, using her Scarlet Witch abilities on an unnamed person.
Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who all appeared in the 2016 standalone Doctor Strange film.

Cumberbatch’s final appearance in an Avengers film was in the box office smash Spider-Man: No Way Home, which merged Multiverses in the Spider-Man universe, bringing together Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield’s versions of the character. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was directed by Sam Raimi, who helmed the early-2000s Maguire Spider-Man films.
