LAHORE: The name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) leader Sanam Javed was included in the May 9 cases and Mianwali Police reached Lahore to arrest her.
According to the police, two vandalism cases 348/23 and 349/23 were registered in Mianwali police station city on May 9, Sanam Javed’s name has been included as an accused in the already registered cases.
Police said that a team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) Saddar has reached Lahore to arrest Sanam Javed.
It should be noted that on March 27, the anti-terrorism court of Lahore granted bail to PTI leaders Alia Hamza and Sanam Javed in the case of setting fire to the Shadman police station.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Punjab approved the nomination papers of PTI’s Sanam Javed for the Senate elections this week.
