On Sunday, PTI’s Ali Asjad Malhi congratulated his opponent Nosheen Iftikhar of PML-N for her victory in the Daska by-election.
Ali Asjad Malhi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Nosheen Iftikhar of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) competed in the by-elections while Khalil Sindhu of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) also participated in the by-elections.
The total number of voters in the constituency is 494,000 for which 360 polling stations were set up out of which 47 were declared sensitive.
In a video statement, PTI’s leader said,
“I won the election on February 19. Special congratulations to Election Commission who took my victory away.”
Malhi thanked PTI workers for their constant support throughout the time.
“You must not panic. We will make a comeback,” he added.
