FIA registers case against 15 people in MDCAT paper leak case

KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Wing has registered a case against 15 people in National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 paper leak case and making it viral on social media.

After the leak of medical college admission test 2024 entry test paper, member board of directors of human rights and defender organization submitted application to FIA cybercrime wing.

The inquiry officer Inspector Arfa Saeed registered a case under sections 3, 4, 13, 14 and 20 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act)(PECA) 2016, among other provisions.

FIA arrests fraudster from Sheikhupura

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a fraudster who was plundering innocent people in the name of a lottery.

FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing arrested an accused of presenting himself as an employee of a private news channel, calling innocent people and offering them the winning of a money-spinning lottery.

The accused deprived one person of Rs. 4,98,000 in the name of a money-spinning lottery and later disappeared.

The cybercrime wing arrested the accused from Sheikhupura and recovered four mobile phones from his custody.

He was sent behind bars for further interrogations after registration of FIR.

FIA arrests fake driving license-making group

The accused issued more than 27000 driving licenses so far.

KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested three accused allegedly involved in issuing fake driving licenses and seized driving licenses.

The Sukkur Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three operatives of a group that created fake driving licenses in the name of Sindh Police while conducting raids in Shikarpur and Sukkur.

According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested accused Faheem Qamar, Iftikhar Ali, and Imran Ali had created fake websites in the name of Shikarpur Traffic Police and were involved in issuing fake driving licenses.

According to the spokesman, the accused issued fake driving licenses to many citizens. The accused have issued more than 27000 driving licenses so far.

The FIA spokesman said that mobile phones and laptops were recovered from the possession of the accused, while a case has also been registered against the arrested accused under the PICA Act.

Dania Shah spotted in court following Aamir Liaquat case

Dania Shah was seen heading into the courtroom with her lawyers following her arrest by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s “obscene video leak” case.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing (CCW) registered an FIR against the ex-wife of Aamir Liaquat Hussain at the plea of his daughter Dua Aamer.

On July 29, Dua Aamer filed a written complaint against Dania Shah, the third wife of the host, in the FIA Cyber Crime Wing for making an indecent video of the deceased and for sharing it on social media.

The FIA has registered an FIR under Section 20, 21 and 24 of the PICA Ordinance 2016 and has arrested the accused Dania from Lodhran after the important evidence came to light after the investigation.

The sources in the know said that Dania Shah has been shifted from Lodhran to Karachi.

The mother of Dania said that she is unaware of the whereabouts of her daughter and claimed that they were being penalized for pursuing an inheritance claim.
