Dominic Fike, the breakthrough star of Euphoria, announced in a recent interview that he is dating his co-star Hunter Schafer.
The 26-year-old actor/singer confessed to GQ for their June/July 2022 edition how he fell in love with 23-year-old Schafer while filming the blockbuster HBO programme.
“In such instances, your connection is hastened because you’re so vulnerable with someone, instantaneously,” Fike explained. This normally takes a long time. Some people fall in love months or years after they meet. We built an attraction – it accelerated everything.”
“We simply got to know each other so soon,” he continued.
Fike also referred to Schafer as his ‘lover’ for the first time in the interview, stating he is’very much in love’ with her and once made eight visits to a Prada store merely to see Schafer’s face in their window ads.
Rumors about Schafer and Fike dating first surfaced in January, when the couple was pictured holding hands at a Hollywood restaurant.
While Fike tweeted a photo of them kissing in February, neither he nor Schafer had previously remarked publicly about their relationship.
