- We have exclusively learnt.
- The film will be a hard testament of the same – and it’s expected to hit the big screen in 2020-21.
According to rumors, it is not a dance film, but rather a true story. Read the inside information.
Every project has its own destiny, and the upcoming film from filmmaker Remo D’Souza is a stark example of this. We have exclusive knowledge that D’Souza will direct his next film after Street Dancer 3D (2020).
According to what we’ve heard, D’Souza’s initial plan was to make his digital platform debut by directing a dance-based web series. Actor Avneet Kaur was almost chosen for the role, but the search for the male lead left the producers baffled.
The choreographer-director was looking for a relatively new actor to play his male lead, but the project’s funding studio was fixated on having actor Ishaan Khatter on board, which led to an impasse. The project has currently stalled as a result of this.
D’Souza chose to focus on a different project, one that will be directed by Manoj Bajpayee, a National Film Award-winning actor.
“For Remo, this is a unique movie. It is based on actual events and is not a dance movie. The movie is still very young. This week will see the first pre-production meeting, a source says.
When we contacted the Race 3 (2018) director, he dismissed the rumours about his web series as “not real” and declined to comment on working with Manoj Bajpayee.
The Family Man actor’s agents, on the other hand, corroborated the information: “The conversations are underway. On the majority of the issues, there is artistic agreement, but the contract has not yet been signed.
