The general consensus is that since the month of Ramadan only occurs once a year, these stations want viewers to entirely disregard their religious obligations in favour of enjoyment. People were exhorted to boycott such dramas in favour of worship and prayer. They asked that during times of worship, television viewers refrain from watching. If dramas must be created, a Facebook user suggested producing Islamic dramas like Yeh Raah Mushkil Nahi.
