“Is the ‘Aurat Card’ even a thing now? Apparently, actress Humaima Malick claims it is, implying that it helps women get away with causing trouble.

Bushra Iqbal, the wife of the late controversial television host Amir Liaquat, was a recent guest on a podcast where she addressed her husband’s leaked video scandal. In response to this, Bushra stated that honor is important for both men and women.

“Honour is not just a woman’s. A man has honour as well. Had this happened to a woman, the entire country would have been out on the street, burning things. But a woman had done this. Men and women are kept equal. God has not kept the level of punishment different in the Quran.” The videos were allegedly leaked by the late television host’s third wife Dania Shah, who claimed in May 2022 that she was severely beaten and forced to make sexual videos to send to people abroad.

In the videos, Amir Liaquat could be seen in a compromising state, unclothed as he walks around a room.

Dania Shah was arrested from her home in December 2022, and later released in 2023 after her lawyer argued that the phone number that had leaked the videos did not belong to the woman.

Actress Humaima Malick has backed Bushra Iqbal’s comment by sharing the clip where the widow speaks about honor, and in the caption of her Instagram stories she wrote: “Waqai Aurat Card is too easy, a man is also a human being.” We are completely in favor of Bushra Iqbal’s views that no person, whether man or a woman, should be publicly humiliated with their personal videos but Humaima Malick trying to claim that this only happened because the ‘Aurat Card’ exists is extremely disappointing, and proof of how easily women are bunched up in a whole as culprits to blame for the actions of a single person.

There is no proof that the person responsible for the video leak was a woman. If the ‘Aurat Card’ did exist then more women, like Humaima Malick’s brother’s ex-wife Syeda Aliza, could have benefitted from such a thing as ‘Aurat Card’, because then she wouldn’t have had to suffer from domestic violence during her marriage to Feroze Khan, Humaima’s brother.

For an actor to publicly claim the ‘Aurat Card’ exists in a country like Pakistan, where more women are beaten, tortured by family members and very few cases are brought to the light, proves how little it takes to side against all women. Nothing is done for those who are consistently clamoring for justice. It’s incredibly disappointing to witness such a sexist mindset among women.”

Bushra Iqbal, the late politician and televangelist Aamir Liaquat’s ex-wife, has disclosed that his post-mortem was terminated per his request.

Bushra said that there was no dispute regarding Aamir’s property and that his residence has remained sealed to this day in an interview given on the occasion of a court appearance in the video leak case connected to the arrest of Liaquat’s widow Dania Shah. She added that she is funding her own defense in this lawsuit.

She asserts that Aamir’s post-mortem was discontinued as a result of a promise he made to his buddy Saqib that, in the event of his passing, he did not want one conducted. Aamir’s medical report revealed no signs of trauma or indications of injury, thus his children chose not to do a post-mortem examination.

She also said that when it came to Aamir’s property, his children were the best asset she owned.

According to his servant Javaid, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a PTI MNA from a Karachi district, was discovered unconscious at his home in the city’s Khudadad Colony. After being transported to the hospital, the 50-year-old was declared dead since he could not be revived.

Sources claim that the anchor kept his room’s door closed from the inside. In the morning, the servant repeatedly pounded on it without success. He disclosed that on Wednesday night, Dr. Aamir had complained of chest trouble.

On her social media, Shel announced the news. “Karachi/District and Sessions Court East has delivered the ruling on the bail application of Dania,” she stated. “Dania was arrested on the accusation of manufacturing, disseminating, and distributing the obscene video of late Aamir Liaquat Hussain. Bushra Iqbal, ex-wife of late Aamir Liaquat, filed a case in FIA Cyber Crime against Dania Shah and her mother after they appeared in court for a post-mortem examination.

Recently in a press conference, Bushra Iqbal mentioned that “FIA has given us a positive response and they have assured us that they’ll investigate on their own and will take action against Dania. Aamir got married to Dania to live a peaceful and happy married life but he didn’t knew that he got married to a greedy woman. Within 4 months his bank accounts were left empty, even at this point he was asking people for money.”

“When Aamir was alive, they were just asking for divorce and nothing else, even they said that didn’t want a penny from Aamir but the moment Aamir died she started acting fake. The divorce was already accepted by Aamir a few days after Dania filed divorce but she’s not accepting it now. We have Aamir’s official statement which proves that Dania is not Aamir’s widow”, added Bushra.

Bushra further said that “Everyone knows that the actual reason behind Aamir’s death is Dania. The entire controversy created by Dania left Aamir all alone. Even Aamir’s driver told me that he used to travel by road know because he was not able to face people after his leaked videos went viral on social media. This case will surely save people from woman like Dania in future.”

While talking about the post-mortem case Bushra stated that “There were no external fractures or injuries on Aamir’s body so we decided not to perform the autopsy. For me Islamic values are preferred than anything else, If we had any doubt regarding Aamir’s death we would have been the first one to ask for post-mortem.”

“We want justice. We want Dania to be arrested as soon as possible and she should be punished for her wrong deeds”, concluded Bushra.

Weeks after Aamir Liaquat’s passing, his post-mortem case is still in court. A few days ago, Dania Malik, the late Aamir Liaquat’s wife, petitioned the Sindh High Court for the exhumation of her husband’s body since his ex-wife Bushra Iqbal and her kids refused to permit the autopsy. Aamir Liaquat’s body was to be exhumed and sent for a post-mortem examination, but Bushra Iqbal and her children’s efforts and struggles forced the court to defer the order of the autopsy.

In recent days, Dania Shah and her mother have arrived at the court for the exhumation, and Aamir Liaquat’s ex-wife Bushra Iqbal has announced that she will file a complaint in FIA Cyber Crime against them.
