Spot the frog in 5 seconds

A girl is resting soundly on her bed in her room in the image above. The girl is sleeping, as evidenced by the sunshine streaming in through the windows.

She is napping while clutching her teddy bear. A notebook and one of her dolls are flung on the floor.

A small frog has crept into the girl’s room. It is now your responsibility to locate the small frog within the time limit.

You’ll only have 5 seconds to find the frog, so don’t waste a single second of it. Your time has come. Best wishes!

The solution to this brain teaser photo puzzle may be found at the conclusion of the post.

However, do not skip forward to the solution and cheat. Only look at the solution when your 5 seconds are up.

You need to be one smart cookie to solve this long riddle!

There is a basket full of hats. Three are white and two are black. Three men, Tom, Tim, and Jim, each take a hat out of the basket and put it on their heads without seeing the hat they selected or the hats the other men selected. The men arrange themselves so Tom can see Tim and Jim’s hats, Tim can see Jim’s hat, and Jim can’t see anyone’s hat. Tom is asked what color his hat is and he says he doesn’t know. Tim is asked the same question, and he also doesn’t know. Finally, Jim is asked the question, and he does know. What color is his hat?

Answer: The hat is white. If Tom doesn’t know his hat color then the other two men’s hats cannot be both black otherwise he would know his hat is white. When Tim doesn’t know his hat color either, that means Jim’s hat could not be black otherwise Tim would have to know his hat was white based on Tom’s answer.

With these difficult riddles that involve lateral thinking, you must think outside the box and analyze all of the possible elements that could lead to a less obvious answer. This gives you a chance to put on your detective hat to try to solve these entertaining mysteries.

Riddle#1

A woman lives on the 30th floor and hates taking the stairs. Every day she takes the elevator down to the lobby floor to go to work. When she comes home from work, she takes the elevator to the 20th floor and walks the rest of the way up, except on days when it rains. Those days she takes the elevator all the way home. Why does she walk the last ten flights of stairs if she hates it so much?

Answer: The woman is too petite to reach the button for the 30th floor. She can only reach the 20th-floor button. On days when it rains, she uses her umbrella to hit the button for the 30th floor.

Riddle #2

A man is condemned to death. He has to choose from three rooms to accept his punishment. The first room has a firing squad with guns loaded. The second room has a blazing fire. The third room is full of tigers that haven’t eaten for six months. Which room should he choose?

Answer: The room of tigers. If the Tigers haven’t eaten in six months, they’d be dead.

Riddle #3

Sam’s dad couldn’t keep his son from playing video games. To keep Sam from playing video games all the time, the dad grabbed a hammer and solved the problem. Now he can play video games but Sam cannot. What did the dad do?

Answer: The dad built a shelf out of Sam’s reach and put the video game console up there. The dad can still reach it to play but Sam cannot.
