Asim Jofa made a breath of new air in the fashion world. Twelve years ago, he began with a jewellery line and created the incredibly exclusive, one-of-a-kind diamond store, The Diamond Gallery. Asim Jofa made waves in the fashion world after earning his design accreditation from the esteemed Central Saint Martins. His numerous collections, which have been exhibited on the runways in the world’s fashion capitals, have won him widespread praise. Asim received two awards in 2012: the Collection of the Year award from the Pakistan Fashion Awards and the IAFA International Asian Fashion Awards for Best Designer Brand.
The renowned Pakistani actress and model Syra Yousuf is depicted in the collection’s first image. With her regal demeanour and enduring allure, Yousuf appears to have stepped out of the time of the Lukhnawi Nawabs. She is dressed in an airy outfit made of raw chanderi lawn embellished with chikankari embroidery and matte gold 5mm sequins, giving it an authentic look.
