Pakistani YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, and his wife Aroob Jatoi were recently detained after being involved in an incident related to displaying a firearm on social media.
The Model Town Organized Crime Unit made the arrest after it was claimed that Aroob displayed the weapon in a video that she uploaded to her Instagram account, which sparked legal action.
In Pakistan, displaying firearms on social media is against the law due to the potential risks it poses to public safety. The couple’s actions led to their brief detention, but they were later released after submitting written apologies to the authorities.
Although both Ducky Bhai and Aroob were released without charges, neither has publicly addressed the incident as of yet.
This isn’t the first time the couple has made headlines. Earlier, Aroob was the victim of a deepfake video, a scandal that prompted the couple to offer a reward of one million rupees for information leading to the culprit responsible for the creation of the video.
With over eight million subscribers on YouTube, Ducky Bhai remains one of Pakistan’s most prominent online personalities, making this incident a major talking point among his followers.
