Rapper Isaiah Rashad addresses leaked tape at Coachella 2022

Rapper Isaiah Rashad addresses leaked tape at Coachella 2022

Isaiah Rashad made his first public comments on a video that emerged in February that claimed to show him in a sexual situation with males during his Coachella performance on Saturday night.

Just before his Sahara Tent act, Rashad, a member of the SoCal label Top Dawg Entertainment (together with Kendrick Lamar and SZA), aired a taped video.

The short video featured media comments and voiceovers concerning the footage’s unauthorised distribution.

“The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him. However, it backfired,” said one voice in the clip.

Rashad, who was visibly moved, told the Coachella audience that fan support had been a lifeline for him. “I see all the messages and all the positivity,” he said, to swells of cheers. “Y’all kept me alive these last couple months.”

For “Wat U Sed,” he was joined onstage later in the event by buzzy new TDE signee Doechii.

Anitta performs at Coachella for the first time

Anitta is the stage name of Larissa de Macedo Machado, a Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, businesswoman, and TV presenter. With the release of her single “Show das Poderosas” in 2013.

Snoop Dogg, Saweetie, and Diplo joined the Brazilian funk sensation onstage in California. From Rio de Janeiro’s outskirts to the Coachella stage!

Anitta, a Brazilian singer, made her Coachella debut on Friday, becoming the country’s first solo artist to do so.

Anitta, 29, kicked off her show by arriving on stage on a motorcycle with her first special guest, Snoop Dogg. Since the release of their song “Onda Diferente” in 2019, the two have been close friends and performed their hit together to kick off the show. Anitta even encouraged Snoop to try twerking with her at one point, which he did, but only for a short time.

“Hi, world, welcome to Brazil. This is my country,” Anitta wrote on Instagram after the show on Saturday. “Just wanna say many many many thanks.”

She captions the post, “Hi, world, welcome to Brazil. This is my country. Just wanna say many many many thanks. I love you so much @snoopdogg I have so much respect and gratitude. No words could ever explain. Forever grateful. @diplo you are my family forever. @saweetie you are soooo especial, amazing, flawless, everything, love you and so glad you came to sing with me yesterday. “My fans are the most amazing thing in the world. @joerohde and @kley_tarcitano thank you for making my Favela on stage possible. Thanks @coachella for treating me and my team and all the artists equally with so much respect and support no matter who they are or how big they are. Nothing I say here can describe properly what happened in so many lives yesterday in so many different aspects.”
