Amitabh Bachchan recalls a time before ‘emoji’

Bollywood versatile actor Amitabh Bachchan remembered his old days when fans used to express their love with gratitude and there was no ‘emoji’.

The Baghban actor took to Instagram and shared a throwback photo with a fan, in which he is seen giving her an autograph and the young girl is all smiles and excited.

He posted the photo and made a comparison between the old days with present days.

Big B wrote “gone are the days when fans expressed their love and appreciation like the one this little one did .. so full of gratitude .. just look at her expression .. now its just an emoji.. !!!!! .. if you are lucky.”

Bollywood’s legendary star Amitabh Bachchan undergoes a successful eye surgery and he is slowly recovering.

Amitabh Bachchan detailed today that he underwent an eye surgery and is going to have another surgery on the other eye.

The 78-yeard-old detailed that his days are passing slowly because he cannot read, write or see at the moment. On Saturday, the Big B triggered worried fans after a telegraphic entry on his blog in which he wrote: “Medical condition… surgery… can’t write.”

In his fresh and lengthy post, he has extended thankfulness to his fans for their concern and wrote, “Eye surgeries at this age are delicate and need precision handling. The best is being done and one hopes all shall be well. The sight and the recovery is slow and difficult so if there are typing errors they are to be excused.”

“Progress is slow and there is yet another eye to go…so it’s a long haul. Hoping of course that it all gets well in time for my schedule which begins in a few. The new film with Vikas Bahl, tentatively titled GoodBye. Some of the stills from the look test were put up…but they are just tests. Nothing has been finalized,” he added more.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is busy shooting for ‘MayDay’ with Ajay Devgan.
