Abdul Waheed, the brother of renowned Pakistani stage actress Salomi Aziz, has encountered resistance in a theft case. On Saturday, a fatal shooting occurred in Karachi’s Jamshed neighborhood close to Gurumandir.
Eyewitnesses initially believed the incident to be a typical theft, but police officials asserted that it appeared to be a personal conflict. Police officials stated that the sad situation happened in a matter of seconds, casting doubt on the suspect’s intentions.
According to Ahmed, a worker at Hakeem’s clinic, two people stormed in demanding cash from Waheed, the person working the cash register, while brandishing a gun at him. Waheed attempted to grasp the defendant as Ahmed started a verbal fight and struck him. The defendant with the money shot Waheed to death, proving their defense. Hakeem Noor Mohammad and Ahmed, thankfully, were unharmed. The police officials claim that the CCTV footage showed that the suspects did not steal anything from the store, adding to the mystery surrounding their crime.
In a statement, Aziz said that her departed brother was a herbalist who didn’t have ill will toward anyone in the industry. The seasoned stage performer asserted that the family will pursue appropriate legal action.
Finally, the actress said, “In order to conceal the incident, the police cannot label it an animosity. We’ll file a lawsuit to hold the killers accountable.”
Tawheed Aziz Hashmi, the proprietor of Al-Shafai Pharmacy and the brother of the late Abdul Waheed, has also reported Waheed’s case to Jamshed Quarter police station against the unidentified criminals.
