Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul Addresses ‘Zero Residuals’ From Netflix

Aaron Paul

Aaron Paul, famous for his role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, revealed that he hasn’t received any residuals from the iconic series, despite its enduring popularity.

Paul made this surprising revelation while participating in a protest outside Sony Pictures in California, standing alongside his former co-stars during the ongoing Hollywood strike. Expressing his frustration, the actor declared, “I don’t receive any compensation from Netflix for Breaking Bad, to be completely honest, and that’s bewildering to me.”

He emphasized the lasting presence of shows on streaming platforms and their continued popularity. He noted, “I recently noticed that Breaking Bad was trending on Netflix…”

The 44-year-old further explained his viewpoint, saying, “It’s just common sense, and I believe many of these streaming services are aware that they’ve been avoiding fair compensation for people’s work, and now it’s time to make amends.”

Better Call Saul Makers Revealed Bryan Cranston & His Cameo

Bryan Cranston is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He is known for portraying Walter White in the AMC criminal drama series Breaking Bad and Hal in the Fox sitcom Malcolm in the Middle.

There was no larger announcement last week than the one made by the creators of Better Call Saul. Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, who portrayed Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, respectively, in the cult smash Breaking Bad, are expected to appear in the season 6 finale of the spin-off drama. This is certainly breaking news that has sparked a wave of enthusiasm, and the wait will not be easy for the show’s religious fans.

Better Call Saul is currently in its sixth season, and the program’s creators have confirmed that Aaron and Bryan will reprise their beloved characters on the show. Paul, who portrays the show’s rash Jesse, has opened out about his return to the world of drugs and action.

Aaron Paul discusses how he was confused if he and Bryan Cranston would be able to appear in Better Call Saul, and how he was astonished that their appearances had already been revealed by the producers. Continue reading to learn everything you need to know about it.

Aaron Paul said, “To be honest, I’m such a fan of Better Call Saul that I just didn’t initially see how they were going to do it. But of course, leave it to [series creators] Vince [Gilligan] and Peter [Gould] and the rest of the writers to come up with the perfect way. It’s fun. I think people are going to be excited.”

“There’s a flag on the play. Just so you know, Vince and Peter let everyone know that you and Bryan are going to be in the final season. And I was like, ‘What?!’ So I didn’t see that coming. But to be honest, I’m happy to be able to finally talk about it and not be squirrelly. It’s nice to be able to be open about it.”

“It was odd to see everyone come together and celebrate Bob [Odenkirk]’s new show. It was just such a family, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little jealous. We all had the time of our lives out in Albuquerque, shooting Breaking Bad. But it’s just so cool to see what they’ve accomplished with [Better Call Saul], and I feel so blessed to be a very small part of it.”
