BTS’ RM and BIGBANG’s Taeyang have recently posted pictures of themselves with fans, and fans are shocked by the ‘unexpected crossover’

RM and Taeyang attended a book launch party hosted by Mok Press, which is owned by photographer Mok Jungwook, on August 30.

BTS leader RM uploaded a black-and-white photo to his Instagram Story and tagged Taeyang and photographer Mok Jungwook.

RM wrote “Congratulation” in the caption.

This is the second time in roughly two months that RM and Taeyang have attended the same event.

Previously, the two singers attended a party hosted by J-Hope of BTS prior to the release of his new album Jack in the box.

BTS maintains its position at the top of the Billboard charts with the anthology album Proof.

According to Soompi, the septet’s anthology album Proof has returned to the top spot on the World Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States each week.

Moreover, the album climbed to No. 74 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart for the eleventh consecutive week.

Jungkook’s recent collaboration with American artist Charlie Puth, “Left and Right,” remained in Billboard’s Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States.

This week, the song remained at No. 44 on the Hot 100 for the ninth consecutive week.

In its third week on the Hot 100, the boy band’s most recent collaboration Bad Decisions with American singer Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg is ranked at No. 60.

BTS, BLACKPINK, and Seventeen all won more than one awards at VMAs

For those who don’t know, the awards show was held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on August 28, 2022.

BLACKPINK showed up on the red carpet and performed their new single, “Pink Venom,” for the crowd.

The girl group was also praised for their collaboration, “Ready for Love,” which won “Best Metaverse Performance,” and member Lisa’s solo, “LALISA,” won “Best K-pop.”

She thanked producer Teddy, YG Entertainment, and BLINKS during her acceptance speech.

Seventeen took their first-ever award at the VMAs for the ‘Push performance of the Year’ for Rock With You.

During their acceptance speech, Seventeen’s Vernon shared that “it was a huge honour to be present as the first K-pop artist for the MTV award show, and felt even greater to receive the push performance award.”

Mingyu chimed in as well and added, “Thankyou VMAs and thankyou BLINKS for all your love and support”.

BTS won the “Group of the Year” award at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for the fourth year in a row, this time in 2022.

The group was up for “Best K-Pop,” “Best Choreography,” “Best Visual Effects,” and “Best Metaverse Performance.”

The Korean Business Research Institute presented a list of the finest K-pop singers this month, as reported on August 27.

According to Soompi’s statistics, Blackpink surpassed BTS to take the top spot for August, raising her score by 213.47 points from July.

BTS, on the other hand, came in second position and boosted their score by only 38.84% since last month.

Singer Lim Young Woong, on the other side, came in third place.

With an improving mark of 81.64%, IVE remained in fourth place for August, and IU remained in the top five of the list.

According to the institution, the result was calculated after collecting huge data from July 27 to August 27 based on media coverage, public contact, communication, and community awareness indices.
