The show, which is based on the well-known Winx Club animation, debuted its second season on September 16, 2022. The gritty teen drama transports viewers to the Otherworld, where Alfea College serves as a training ground for fairies and specialists.

After Bloom (Abigail Cowen) and her companions form a circle to unite their energies, they are able to destroy the Blood Witch Sebastian (Éanna Hardwick). This is how the most recent season came to a conclusion. Later, Bloom makes the decision that it is time to learn more about her past. So, leaving Alfea behind, she embarks on a perilous adventure into a strange land.

Season 3: Will there be one?
The third season of the show may or may not be renewed by Netflix, depending on how well the new episodes do during their initial month of availability.

However, the cast seems optimistic as  Paulina Chávez, who plays the earth fairy Flora, in a roundtable with RadioTimes.com, said, “We want to leave them wanting more, which I think we did.” Even Abigail Cowen, who plays fire fairy Bloom, added, “We just hope for a season 3.”

According to the Decider, “the showrunners clearly feel confident in a Fate: The Winx Saga Season 3 greenlight.” The publication also added that if Netflix were to make the next season, it would take another 18 months to hit the Netflix screens, which is until late 2023 or early 2024.

Netflix’s critically praised series Squid Game may welcome Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio.

According to reports, Netflix has extended the Korean series for two more seasons after it became a huge sensation.

Hwang Dong-hyuk, the Emmy-winning director of the programme, stated that “Season 2 will not feature any well-known Hollywood actor.” That’s not the intended scenario, and if it does, maybe in Season 3; nonetheless, for Season 2, the action takes place in Korea. Given that Leonardo DiCaprio has expressed a strong interest in “Squid Game,” perhaps we can ask him to participate if time and opportunity permit.

The second season of the Korean programme will begin production in 2023 and premiere online in 2024. Hwang indicated that the forthcoming season would see increases in production expenses and that the games that will be played in the season have been confirmed. “We will start shooting Season 2 next year and it’ll be released the following year,” Hwang added.

The first K-drama to top Netflix’s top 10 weekly most-watched TV show charts globally in 94 different countries was Squid Game, which made its Netflix debut and quickly became a worldwide sensation. According to the streaming service, Squid Game received a staggering 1.65 billion hours of viewing in the first 28 days following its debut.

‘Queen Elizabeth II watched The Crown on projector:’ says Matt Smith

According to actor Matt Smith, Queen Elizabeth II enjoyed the Netflix popular drama series The Crown and used to watch it on a projector every Saturday.

The House of the Dragon actor, who portrayed young Prince Philip in seasons one and two of the popular drama series, stated in an interview that he had heard the Queen used to watch the programme.

“I heard the queen had watched it,” Smith said on the show. “And she used to watch it on a projector on a Sunday night, apparently.”

However, the late Duke of Edinburgh was not fond of the show as the actor said, “I know that Philip definitely didn’t [watched the show].”

“A friend of mine sat next to him at a dinner once, and he asked him,” Smith explained. “My friend couldn’t resist. By the end of the meal, he was like, ‘Philip, I have to ask. Have you watched The Crown?’”

“And [he] apparently turned ’round to him and went, ‘Don’t be ridiculous,'” the actor added.

Smith claims that he “became in love with Phillip” while filming the show’s first two seasons, despite the reaction.

‘He was a real modernizer and really interesting. I fell in love with Philip really to be honest,’ he said, adding that he thought Phillip and the Queen were ‘a fabulous couple.’

‘He loved her. He really made her laugh.’

Netflix’s acclaimed series, The Crown has reportedly resumed filming

The acclaimed Netflix series The Crown is allegedly back in production for its forthcoming sixth and final season after pausing for one day following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

The production of the popular royal series was put on hold after Buckingham Palace declared Queen Elizabeth, Britain’s longest-reigning queen, had passed away on September 8.

The award-winning series’ creator, Peter Morgan, stated that the choice was made as a “symbol of respect” for Queen Elizabeth II.

On Sunday, a few male actors were observed on the set of the historical drama at The Savoy Hotel in London, and there were numerous trucks parked down the street carrying set pieces.

With several big vehicles present, the route was blocked off to the general public.

After Netflix announced plans to suspend production for a day in honour of the late king, the current decision to resume filming the sixth season was made

The streamer also confirmed that there will be a similar gesture on Monday (September 19) for her state funeral. “Filming will also be suspended on the day of Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral.”

The British monarch’s life and reign are dramatised in The Crown. Imelda Staunton, an actress, will replace Olivia Colman as the Queen in the upcoming motion picture.

In the meantime, this year’s November will see the premiere of the acclaimed series’ fifth season.
