In one scene, when Muzna is reprimanded by a grandmother and her young kid for bringing her newborn infant into the cafe, Rabia steps in and tells them that Muzna did the right thing by choosing to provide sanctuary for a child who had been abandoned.

The rest of the episode shows how the two women turn to one another for comfort as Muzna endures criticism from her husband and mother-in-law for choosing to adopt a child. They tease her, telling her that having a child with another woman won’t make her a mother, but Razia constantly reassures her that what she is doing is admirable. As Rabia assists Muzna in confronting her husband and the rest of the family and searches for the mother’s child, their healthy relationship stays unshakeable.

It is encouraging that a show like Sar-e-Rah isn’t afraid to explore such taboo topics and remind women that they can find the strength they need in each other at a time when sensitive subjects like domestic violence, child abuse, and forced marriages aren’t treated with the sensitivity and depth they deserve.

I then put on about 7 to 8 kilogrammes, which made my director delighted. “Now you look just like Mona,” he exclaimed. Because I had to remain in character during the duration of the shoots, I stopped going to the gym and put my diet plans on hold. I consumed a wide variety of foods because I was unable to pretend to be eating while simultaneously spitting food out from the other side because my character even ate while filming. I had a great time assuming the identity of Mona.”

In addition, Jung discussed her motivation for acting in “Pyaari Mona,” admitting that she had had similar difficulties to those that her character did. When Jung was re-offered the part a year later after initially rejecting the drama, she accepted.

“This is my narrative. I have experienced it. not really with her family, as in. But I have experienced everything related to people and society. In addition to that, I also believed that a great number of people were experiencing the same problem. I have therefore discovered a story that is very crucial to convey for them and for me. Because we’ll continue to do typical plays with the boy and girl and they fall in love, I thought the message was crucial. But this play was distinctive and message-driven. I read it and was immediately smitten with Mona.”

He attributes the movie’s young actor, Usama Javaid Haider, who he first met during a Lahore shoot years prior, to the success. The Anaa actor remarked on Haider’s dedication, enthusiasm, and work ethic on Wednesday when revealing that Haider had received the Best Actor prize for his performance in Mukhtar’s horror movie.

“I’m super proud of this kid. I honestly feel that I’m fortunate to have come across him. I met him at a shoot in Lahore where we had a scene together. I had to sit and react when this kid had a nine-minute monologue. By the time the monologue ended, I was blown away by his performance. He is a brilliant actor and a hardworking one,” he wrote.

Mukhtar needed a dubbing voice for Gulabo Rani’s post-production and thought of Haider. For the young actor, that day turned out to be a turning point.  Mukhtar said, “”We were doing post-production for Gulabo, and Usama had some dubbing work left. I asked him if he could come in for the dubbing session, and he came without any hesitation. When he reached the studio, I noticed that he had lost weight and had shaved his head. When I asked him why he had done so, he tried to play it down. That’s when he revealed that his cancer had returned and he had to shave his head for his chemo treatment. I was shocked and asked him why he hadn’t told me earlier so we could have rescheduled the session. But he simply replied, ‘Usman bhai, work is work.”

Mukhtar called the actor a “superstar” and praised his talent and hard ethic in his congratulations, expressing his appreciation for him. He further wrote, “I have no words to describe what a gem this kid is and how much I’ve learned from him in the process.”

He continued by saying that Haider was now a Pakistani actor with a worldwide reputation after receiving the Best Actor prize at the Bucharest Shortcut Cinefest. He also acknowledged his pride in Haider’s accomplishments.

Mukhtar revealed the news on social media after his short film received the Best Short Film Prize at the LA Sci-Fi & Horror Festival 2022 earlier this year. He shared a picture of his trophy with the description, “Leviathan Platinum Award 2022,” and expressed his gratitude for the accomplishment.

Farhan Saeed has resorted to social media and lashed out at his fellow countrymen for not raising a voice against the escalating prices.

He tweeted, “Pakistaniyon, tum 500 rs litre bhi dalwa loge. Afsos! (Pakistanis would even be okay if the petrol prices were increased to Rs500 per litre. Sad state of affairs). The nations that don’t stand up for themselves, deserve this and worse.”

At the end of the previous month, the price of gasoline increased sharply by Rs 35 per litre, mostly as a result of the significant depreciation of the rupee versus the dollar. According to a statement from the finance ministry, the rupee’s decline against the dollar is also to blame for the most recent increase in the price of gasoline and diesel.

The government has also raised the price of kerosene oil by Rs12.90 per litre and light diesel oil by LDO Rs9.68 per litre, according to the finance ministry. After the increase, the cost of gasoline increased to Rs272 per litre from Rs249.80 per litre, representing an increase of Rs22.60 per litre.

“I was quite young when I got married; I was only 21… I had no relatives or friends to turn to during our time in Oman, and my ex-husband never provided me with money to keep me under his thumb. I once reported him to the police for assaulting me. But instead of doing anything, they brushed it off as a family issue and went, leaving me by myself with him.” she said.

After getting a divorce four years later, the actress reflected on her experience and said she wishes more parents would teach their kids about respecting boundaries because her ex-husband would psychologically torture her into thinking the beatings she was suffering were her fault.

“Women in our society are told from an early age that they will have a lovely wedding and a spouse who will take care of all of their needs. That is why so many women are prepared to give their marriages everything they have. But I hate that women are never taught the value of setting boundaries that, even their spouse, cannot breach. I most regret not doing it because I would not have wasted three and a half years trying to save my marriage”, she stated.

“My spouse would use all kinds of psychological tricks to gaslight me and try to convince me that the beatings were my fault because I irked him. He can claim, for example, that it was your fault that I was served cold food because of which I whacked you in the head with a frying pan. I persisted in thinking that if I worked more or loved him more, he would be proud of me” she further said.

she hoped parents, and particularly men, would learn from her revelation, Rizvi said that men must learn to respect women, and they must make sure to give a woman who had a lot of protection when she lived with her parents the same amount of honour, respect, and love when they bring her home. Give her twice as much love and attention as you typically did when she becomes the mother of your kids.
