Driving License Centers Following a crackdown on unlicensed driving, the Lahore City Traffic Police has introduced a convenient solution. In response to the overwhelming number of license applicants, a new feature allows people to apply for the renewal of learner driving permits from the comfort of their homes.

This recent initiative by Lahore Traffic Police empowers individuals to renew their learner permits without the need to visit the office. Additionally, online services for the renewal of duplicate and international driving licenses are set to be introduced in the coming days.

The enhanced feature in DLIMS, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), streamlines the otherwise cumbersome process, enabling citizens to obtain a new learner license or renew an expired one effortlessly.

To avail of this online renewal service, citizens can visit https://dlims.punjab.gov.pk/register. The renewal facility is also accessible at all e-khidmat maraakaz, police khidmat maraakaz (pkm) Punjab, and police stations across the province.

Applying for a new learner license involves filling out the online form, submitting a photo, and providing a scanned copy or picture of the original CNIC (front and back). Following online payment, citizens can download and print their learner license. Lahore Traffic Police emphasizes that legal action may be taken against those providing false information to obtain the learner license.
