Secret Service agents swiftly protected President Joe Biden as a car collided with a parked SUV in his motorcade. The incident occurred after the president and First Lady Jill Biden had finished a meal with their re-election team at the campaign headquarters.
“There was no protective interest associated with this event and the president’s motorcade departed without incident,” Secret Service spokesperson Special Agent Steve Kopek said in a statement.
The Wilmington Police Department is looking into the crash, and thankfully, no one was injured in the collision.
