A section of the well-known Al Mulla Plaza in Dubai collapsed on Saturday night, as confirmed by the police. “Two minor injuries were recorded as a result of the accident,” the Dubai Police said in a statement issued on Sunday.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the collapse occurred due to the “improper storage of heavy materials.” Fortunately, quick action from the response teams ensured the safety of everyone, including workers and visitors at the site.

Following the incident, the shops were temporarily closed, and visitors were requested to return after a few days.
