The first flight, carrying 80 passengers, departed from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi and landed in Mashhad. Initially, Taban Air plans to operate one flight per week, with the possibility of increasing frequency based on demand.
This follows the recent launch of flights between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur by Malaysia’s Batik Air, and Azerbaijan’s national airline AZAL has also initiated direct flights to Pakistan to promote tourism.
