Various activities were organized by the Pakistan Navy on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, special prayer ceremonies were organized in the mosques managed by Pakistan Navy for the development, stability and security of the country and flag hoisting ceremonies were held in various units of Pakistan Navy.

A tree planting drive was also organized by Pakistan Navy in Gharo on the occasion of Independence Day. Commander Coast Vice Admiral Faisal Rasool Lodhi was the chief guest at the tree planting ceremony.

Boat rallies were organized in Gwadar and Creek area under the auspices of Pakistan Navy on Independence Day. Boat rallies were enthusiastically attended by locals and fishermen.
