PTI chairman files post-arrest bail plea in Al-Qadir Trust case

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has filed a post-arrest bail application in the Accountability Court of Islamabad in the Al-Qadir Trust £190 million scam.

The bail application was submitted by Chairman PTI through lawyers Latif Khosa, Inthar Panjotha, and Ali Ijaz.

Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir issued notices on the application, making NAB chairman and Director General NAB parties to the bail request.

The petition stated that PTI chairman has remained the former Prime Minister and also a renowned cricketer, mentioning that the Imran Khan’s political base and reputation were being damaged.

The plea seeks post-arrest bail pending the verdict in the £190 million scam case.

NAB Prosecutor Sohail Arif received the notice in the courtroom, and the accountability court adjourned the hearing until December 4.
