Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani has said that Kashmiris should celebrate India’s Independence Day as a black day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani has called for a complete strike in the valley on August 15, 2020.

Syed Ali Gilani said that all Kashmiri occupiers, victims of illegal oppression by India, should go on full strike in the Valley on India’s Independence Day. Pakistan’s Independence Day will be celebrated in the Valley as Thanksgiving Day.
Hurriyat leaders and other parties have announced to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day in occupied Kashmir with full enthusiasm.
