Palestinians desperately need clean water, food, medicine: Al-Khidmat

PESHAWAR. Dr. Prof. Hafeezur Rahman, President of Al Khidmat Foundation, on Sunday said the Palestinians were in great need of clean water, food and medicine, which they had been continuously delivering since October 8.

Hafeezur Rehman said Al-Khidmat had been helping Palestinians since October 8. Medicines, food and water worth 20 crores had been delivered to Palestine so far, he added.

He said more than 90 tons of relief goods had also been sent to Palestine by plane. Together with the government of Pakistan, they were sending more relief goods, he said.

The Al-Khidmat president said all hospitals in Palestine had been destroyed. More than three thousand doctors were willing to help the Palestinians voluntarily, he said.

“If permission is given, field hospitals will be established inside Gaza, if not, they will be established near the border of Egypt,” Hafeezur Rehman said.

Hafeezur Rehman is in contact with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Malaysia to help the Palestinians. “We will help the sick and injured in all possible ways,” he said.

He told 90 tons of more relief goods will be sent to Palestine next week.
